8 of the easiest Achievements from the Xbox One games released in June 2018

-

So E3 has come and gone, giving us countless new and exciting titles to look forward to for the rest of 2018 and beyond, but whilst the year’s biggest event in the gaming calendar is over once more, the last month has also seen a number of hugely anticipated titles arriving, many of which brought us a bunch of easy achievements to help boost our Gamerscore.

With that in mind, we’re back with another achievement focused article, this one centred on 8 of the easiest achievements from the Xbox One games released in June 2018.

Before we get down to business however, please be aware that all achievements listed below – and the attached unlock percentages – are fully accurate at the time of writing, however they can and possibly will change later on. Further to that, only games that have launched during the month of June can be included in this list.

So, onto those achievements!

8 – Awkward – First time – 20g – 73.21%

For an achievement so simple, seeing such a low percentage is truly mind-boggling.

See, to get the first of this month’s easy achievements, and the first 20g to add to your collection, all you’ll need to do in this is to play your first game in Awkward… that’s right, nothing more, nothing less, just one game. With only a few minutes being all it takes to whip through the questions and complete a game and no win mentioned in the requirements, this is without a doubt one of the easiest achievements you’ll see for some time.

So why is it sitting bottom of our list? Well that’s one that has us scratching our heads too, but with such a low number of players having pressed on with a single game, this simple achievement is the one kicking us off, so you can bet the rest of the list is going to be just as simple!

7 – Super Bomberman R – Self-Destruct – 10g – 80.97%

Ahh Bomberman.

For years this little chap has had us planting bombs, clearing lanes, and decimating our opposing bombers via the way of frantic deathmatches, and with the recent release of Super Bomberman R, he’s back once more to do it all again. Whilst most of the achievements in this one will require at least a little skill to obtain, there is one however that will be obtainable without too much effort, provided you’re happy to walk away shameless after your actions that is.

To get the Self-destruct achievement, all you’ll need to do is simply be defeated by your own bomb. That’s right, much like last month’s easiest achievements, this one is another that requires you prematurely end your run with a suicidal tendency.

For 10g though, it’s got to be worth it! Right?

6 – Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn – The Juice Is Loose – 10g – 83.96%

The return of Shaq Fu with A Legend Reborn is one many were looking forward too, even if it was just to fix the dreadful outing he got first time around. Unfortunately, the second outing wasn’t a complete masterpiece either, however achievement hunters beware, there’s a fairly simple 1000/1000 on offer if you can put up with the repetitive nature this one brings.

Kicking off the path to that full completion however is of course The Juice Is Loose, and to get this one, all you’ll need to do is perform Shaq’s unique attack – Shaq Wave – to ensure 10g pops itself onto your profile. This simply means nothing more than a single button press, and the best part of all, you don’t even need to hit an enemy, you can simply bash away.

What’s more, if you do it enough, there’s another that can be unlocked when you’ve done it 100 times too. So, what are you waiting for, get bashing.

5 – MXGP PRO – What?! – 15g – 84.68%

It may have been one of the final games to arrive in June, and it’s certainly focused on bringing a simulation type Motocross experience to gamers, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t at least one easy achievement to be found in there. Looking at that unlock percentage, it doesn’t take long to guess that this is probably something most will end up using early on.

So, to get this one, all you need to do is activate the most forgiving tool to grace the racing genre in recent years – the rewind feature. Chances are it won’t take you long to need this one – and if you need it once, you’ll need it again – but at least that first muddy face plant will bring a smile to your face as the welcome ‘ping’ of 15g arrives to soothe the blow.

4 – Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy – C1-Spin Doctor – 20g – 85.43%

So, it seems the mighty Bandicoot has finally stepped foot onto Xbox once more, and with the original trilogy now available in a remastered fashion, there is bound to be many who have already set themselves the challenge of earning all 3000 Gamerscore that’s available.

Whilst each game brings 1000g of its own, there are also plenty of easy achievements to pick up, but one of the very first ones you’ll obtain will be C1-Spin Doctor.

This achievement, as the name suggests, must be earned in the first Crash Bandicoot title of the three, and to get it, all you have to do is use Crash’s spin attack to send an enemy into another. Do that twice and your first 20g is all yours, and with two enemies coming at you within the very first level early on, this should take all of 30 seconds to nab.

Easy enough right?

3 – Omega Strike – Pocket Change – Collect 10 coins – 15g – 88.76%

If there’s one thing I like to see each year, it’s at least one title that brings a beautiful art style and some retro-inspired gameplay that takes us back for some classic platforming action. Omega Strike is the latest title to do just that on Xbox One, and whilst it’s a game that will probably slip by unnoticed by many, those who have already jumped in will be well aware of the various simple achievements on offer.

The first of the simplistic Gamerscore earners you’ll grab is Pocket Change and chances are you’ll be putting in no effort to get this one as coins are available by the shedloads in this game, and it’ll only take 10 of the shiny golden lumps to fall into your possession before this one nets you your first 15g.

2 – Jurassic World Evolution – 5g – 89.37%

The new movie may not have turned out to be quite the legendary masterpiece that everyone wanted, but there’s no denying it’s nice to have the dinosaurs back on the big screen.

What’s even nicer though is that the Jurassic World has also found a home on Xbox with Jurassic World Evolution now here to give us the opportunity to listen to John Williams’ iconic theme song whilst creating the park of our dreams, finally putting wrong all those issues we’ve been criticising the movies for. We’ve spent a fair bit of time doing that here at TheXboxHub this month, and in doing so, we’ve found ourselves popping a few of the best named achievements along the way.

The best of all however is also the easiest, and to nab ‘Life finds a way’ all you have to do is release a dinosaur into the park. Considering that without dinosaurs your park will be nothing more than an exotic rainforest, this is something you’ll be doing pretty early on. It may only yield 5g, but hey, when you’ve got that theme tune to listen to, anything more is just a bonus.

1 – The Crew 2 – Welcome to MotorNation – 10g – 90.09%

So, we’ve finally made it to the number 1 spot and this month’s easiest achievement comes courtesy of The Crew 2.

That’s right, whilst it may have only been with us just a matter of days, this highly anticipated fast and furious open-world racer has already seen hundreds of thousands of players jump in, with over 90 percent of them grabbing the ‘Welcome to MotorNation’ achievement.

To get this 10g addition, all you’ll need to do is simply complete the 1st episode of the Live Xtrem Series within The Crew 2. What this means for those of you yet to jump in, is to simply complete the opening race of the game, in any position. That will see you nab yourself one of the simplest racing achievements out there.

Not bad for one of the biggest racers of the year now is it, and there’s plenty more to follow once you’re done with that one too!

And there we have it. Another month of exciting new titles, with plenty of blockbusters and countless easy achievements to sink our teeth into. Have you unlocked any of those found within our list? Have we missed an easy achievement that you think deserves an honourable mention? Let us know in the comments below or via our usual social channels.
