It's well known that Zen Studios have been looking to evolve their usual pinball-fuelled strategy, and today as E3 rocks and rolls its way to the masses, it is they who have announced CastleStorm II for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC, evolving the hit fortress-felling franchise in the process.
If you know of Zen Studios then you will know that they are the guys and girls behind the surge in pinball gaming popularity. In fact, without beating around the bush, they've single-handedly taken the pinball scene and turned it on its head with the release of the recent Pinball FX3 and the many tables it holds. Now though it seems like they are branching out and away from the high-score gathering ball-pinging pinball, to venture into the world of classic first-person dungeon crawling with Operencia: The Stolen Sun on Xbox One and PC.
It's quite obvious that the arrival of Williams Pinball Volume 1 was a bit of a hit when Zen Studios released the pack on to Pinball FX3 back in October - so much so that the launch of Volume 2 is fast approaching.Â
If you like a bit of pinball then you will no doubt love what Zen Studios have done with Pinball FX3. Well standby, because that pinball experience will very soon be getting even better.
