Another week down and it’s time for us to take a gander at the best Xbox news and reviews of the week. Sit back and take a look at the five news and reviews from the last seven days that we think you cannot miss! Agree with our choices?
1) Batman Arkham Knight ‘Be the Batman’ live action trailer released.
Hands up who doesn’t like Batman? Nah, didn’t think there would be many of you.
And that can mean only one thing; the latest Batman Arkham Knight goodies are must watches and as is the way with the world and its obsession with AAA titles, the live action TV spot trailer is right up there with some of the best stuff we’ve seen.
Don’t you dare miss it!
2) Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark Review
With a rich history that goes back years, Team 17 are one of our favourite ever developers. Teaming up with Italic Pig, they’ve now released a platform puzzler with some unique twists onto the Xbox One Games Store. Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark may have one of the best names in recent videogame history, but do Team 17 do the ‘physics world’ justice?
You know what, it ain’t bad at all.. and the quarks are absolutely adorable.
3)Â Great Scott! Back to the Future, Ninjago and more DC characters confirmed for LEGO Dimensions!
Let’s face it, LEGO rules the world. Not content with worming its way physically into every home in the land, the last decade or so has seen it move into the digital world with great aplomb.
But all things LEGO are soon to be going through the roof once again as the guys at Warner Bros prepare to go live with LEGO Dimensions. Merging the physical with the virtual, LEGOÂ combines with Back to the Future, Ninjago and even more DC characters with the latest additions to the Dimensions world.
If you thought Skylanders and Disney Infinity were just for the kids, then we’re pretty certain the draw of LEGO will see you good!
Racing fans have been waiting patiently for the release of the ultimate driver journey. But now Slightly Mad Studios have finally delivered Project Cars (c’mon, admit it, we all got worried with those delays!), is it worth the cash… and more importantly, does it challenge the Forza series for best Xbox One racer?
Well, our review of Project Cars on Xbox One is well worth a read. Hit the link and enjoy.
5)Â F1 2015 delayed. New trailer and screenshots released
If Project Cars isn’t your thing, then the next big racer to be hitting our consoles is F1 2015. Codemasters originally had Formula One’s new gen debut down for a June 2015 release, but delays happen and never is that truer than in the videogame industry. Dropping it back a month or so is a disappointment, but hey, at least we’ve got some sexy new screens and videos to drool over!
