The ACA NEOGEO series has already seen many classics re-emerge that have been faithfully reproduced for the Xbox One and today there’s another one. It’s time for some hacking and slashing in CROSSED SWORDS!

Originally launching courtesy of SNK back in 1991, CROSSED SWORDS is a hack ‘n’ slash action game with an RPG-like system which enables character growth. It’s set in the enchanted land of Belkana, where creatures have gone on a rampage and the demon Nausizz has risen, before wiping out communities with vicious attacks. You’ll take on the quest as a knight to make it through a number of intense stages before defeating Nausizz, in order to bring an end to the monstrosities. To do so, the knight can perform defensive manoeuvres, weapons attacks and magic attacks, whilst new weapons can be bought to aid on your journey too.

ACA NEOGEO CROSSED SWORDS also allows up to two players to play alongside each other simultaneously. If any of that interests you, simply travel to the nearest digital Microsoft Store and buy it for a grand total of £6.39.

Is this a classic that you’ll be getting involved in and, if not, which NEOGEO masterpieces would you rather see on Xbox One?
