Additional game mode revealed for Agony

-

There is just one more week left until the release of Agony on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but today comes news of a newly added game mode – procedurally generated chambers!

Due to release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come May 29th 2018, Agony will feature a full story mode as it drops players into a number of brutal environments and asks them to stay alive in order to solved the riddle behind the mysterious Red Goddess. Expect to be haunted by nightmare creatures as you attempt to possess demons and find your way out of hell.

But alongside that will come an additional game mode that will add procedurally generated chambers for you to test your hellish surivival skills in. Inside mysterious labyrinths made of human bones or frosted ice chambers, players will face random quests and challenges, and you may well be asked to collect ten figurines which are spread around the level. The game will end with deaths calculating your score. In order to push this to another level, all scores will be displayed on a worldwide leader board.

And once you have managed to achieve the quest objectives and have made your way to the mysterious “Red Chamber”, you can then add additional points to the score by generating additional chambers or even go back to replaying the given level as one of the notorious Succubus!

If that is your idea of ‘fun’, then May 29th 2018 is the date for your diaries.
