Enjoyed what the Adventures of Bertram Fiddle provided with the launch of Episode 1: A Dreadly Business back in May? Well, it’s time to hit the puzzles, pigeons and puns once more as we take a trip back to Victorian London and the second episode of Fiddle’s tale with Episode 2: A Bleaker Predicklement.
Available to purchase and download right now, and following up to the rather lovely first chapter following Bertram Fiddle is Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 2: A Bleaker Predicklement. Running as a standalone second parter, you’ll find that Episode 2 on Xbox One comes in with a slightly higher asking price than that which went before it, with a £7.19 payment being enough to ensure the download is taken from the Xbox Store.
We’re pretty sure it’s worth that price though and after the success of the first episode – and you can read our review of that right here – Episode 2 of Bertram Fiddle will see you falling back into London once more, as you spend time discovering hidden secrets, meeting a whole host of strange characters and attempt to solve numerous puzzles, all while being subjected to some of the most awful puns.
But it is this humour which makes Adventures of Bertram Fiddle such a delight to play and we’re fully expecting this follow-up chapter to make the same impression as the journey opener, as the story is concluded. With around 60 different scenes to enjoy, a stunning jazz-fuelled soundtrack and fully voiced friends to meet on the way, you can be sure that spending time with Bertram Fiddle once more will be something hugely enjoyable.
To get involved, head on over to the Xbox Store and grab Episode 2: A Bleaker Predicklement. And whilst you don’t have to have played the first episode beforehand, it would make complete and utter sense to do so.
We will be sure to have some more thoughts surrounding this chapter once we’ve had the chance to check it out in person. Will you be joining us on this journey? Let us know in the comments.
