Mixing dynamic and versatile time-bending mechanics, fast paced combats and some of the most ingenious puzzles, AeternoBlade II is coming – releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch this Autumn.

Announced today by PQube and the development team at Corecell Technology, AeternoBlade II is a brand-new action/puzzle platformer that will be found launching on Xbox One, PS4 and Switch in the Autumn of 2019, seeing us given the chance to harness the power of the AeternoBlade and play as three unique characters.

This means we’ll see the returning heroine Freyja, and newcomers Felix and Bernard, journeying across multiple dimensions, utilising their individual set of skills as they take in a desperate struggle against the destruction of the Dark Abyss. See, the power of the AeternoBlade must be returned or reality – at least as they know it – will face total collapse.

The gameplay side of AeternoBlade II promises to be nothing short of pure poetry, focusing on dynamic combat, engaging jump’n’run moments and some cracking puzzle passages that seamlessly transition into action-packed battles, pushing the game’s visually striking combo system to its limits. In fact, it will only be by combining both components, and using launched enemies as mid-air stepstones, will you get the chance to gain access to new areas and much more. Yep, AeternoBlade II will challenge your creativity in completely new ways!

Drop in some cool monster designs and massive bosses that make every new area exciting, the power to control time wisely in order to solve tricky puzzles, and a new dynamic 3D battles system which will add even more variety to the classic side-scroller, and it seems like PQube and Corecell Technology will be on to a winner with AeternoBlade II on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

We will of course keep you up-to-date with the development and any confirmations of full release dates. Check out the trailer below in the meantime.
