The folks over at Gamera have just released a brand new trailer for their isometric souls-like action-RPG, Alaloth – Champions of The Four Kingdoms, and it introduces the story behind it. Do you want to have a watch?

Alaloth is an upcoming action-RPG set in a vibrant fantasy world, featuring intense combat and plenty of dungeon delving to be had, with skill based gameplay inspired by the classics from yesteryear as well as the modern day action masterpieces.  There will be four playable races, enabling you to be Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs, amongst 40+ houses and clans available to fight for. The story itself has been created by the RPG legend that is Chris Avellone and it’ll see you play the role of the champion of your race, searching for a precious artifact that’s required to prevent the return of the evil.

Alaloth is a beast, a dark fallen god who turned on his pantheon and fell to the mortal realms, where he lies imprisoned in The Valley of Storms. It is here that the four kingdoms of men, orcs, elves and dwarves intersect. From this limbo, he spreads evil throughout the world, determined to extinguish out any light of hope. Expect the likes of storms, monsters, plagues, strife and great dragons to bring devastation upon the land – it requires strength and courage to unite the races in order to defeat him. As The Spectral Circle look to bring back the dark god from his exile, four champions must fight to prevent this catastrophic takeover of The Four Kingdoms.

You can find out more about it by checking out the Alaloth – Champions of The Four Kingdoms story trailer below. And don’t forget, Alaloth is set to be available on Xbox One and PC this year. Let us know what you think of it by getting in touch via all of the usual means.
