By now most of you will be setting up those Xbox One consoles or making room for when the parcel man arrives. Well once it’s ready you can download Amazon’s LOVEFiLM Instant app from the Xbox One Apps Marketplace as it’s one of the launch apps.
What can you expect from this? A large collection of films and TV shows at the click of a button, a wave of a hand or simple voice commands. The WatchList is a really handy feature for when you’re browsing the catalogue as you can add things to watch in the future, it’s neat having them all in one place. Other popular features from the LOVEFiLM service are also present such as 1080P HD streaming, Dolby 5.1 surround sound and Whispersync that allows you to pause on one device then resume on another.
A couple of new features on the Xbox One include making the most of “Snap” and “Fill” so you can continue to watch in a side-panel whilst having menus, games or other apps in the main window. Along with the Xbox One Achievements and Challenges system you will be able to earn badges by doing things like adding to the WatchList or viewing new releases.
