Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles and Arcane Edition available now on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam

-

The Gate of Memories re-opens once more, this time to tell the story of Nameless in Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles. And alongside that we also see the Arcane Edition arrive!

Available right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Nameless should be familiar to fans of the series of action RPGs and tabletop gaming, originally appearing as an enemy in the first Anima. This time though, they are the main character – an immortal that has taken the guise of various identities through the course of thousands of years.

Going back to the birth of the first Anima, Nameless Chronicles tells the story from the perspective of “The Nameless One” and what drives and motivates them.

“Nameless Chronicles started out as just a little story, just another chapter in a story that grew and grew into something huge. Something we’re proud of. The three members of our studio have given everything we got to make a game like this. Now, we are eager for people to enjoy the adventures of the Nameless One and see the world through their eyes,” says Carlos Blas, creator of the Anima Universe.

Whilst the story will re-tread familiar plot points – albeit it from the other perspective – fans have been reassured the scenarios and situations will be vastly different from what has been before.

Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles can be downloaded right now from the Xbox Store priced at £15.99. We will have a review incoming very soon, so make sure you keep an eye out for it. Will you be downloading  now or waiting for our words of wisdom to make an informed decision? Let us know in the comments below!

Additionally, and sitting pretty alongside The Nameless Chronicles is Anima: Gate of Memories – Arcane Edition, the complete edition of Gate of Memories, bringing together both The Nameless Chronicles and The Gate of Memories from 2016. If you haven’t yet delved into the world, but fancy going all out, then the £23.99 requested makes it a very tempting proposition.

Game description:

“Anima The Nameless Chronicles is a third person action RPG that tells the story of a man without name, an immortal being cursed to walk the world until the end of time. When a shadow of his past rises again, he will be forced to take part in a conflict in which the very existence is in question. But… Will he be our last hope, or our doom? The Nameless Chronicles is the second videogame set in the world of Gaia, from the Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG table-top books. You will enjoy a deep and multifaceted story where your choices directly impact the journey and decide your fate. • Use the Hand of Tanathos, a unique action system that allows The Nameless to improve any attack becoming temporarily one with the Death. • Customize your character playstyle each time you level up with a vast set of unique skills developing them as in a traditional RPG. • A great story full of memorable characters. • Epic battles with formidable opponents. Challenge legendary enemies, each with their own special features. • Equip yourself with dozens of unique weapons and artifacts. • A huge world. You can move with freedom, allowing you to retrace your steps and unlock access to previously inaccessible places.”
