If you’re a fan of strategy games, fantasy games, sports games or the occasional bout of Chess, then there’s a big chance you’re one of collective group that has fallen so fondly in love with the Blood Bowl series. Blood Bowl 2 may have arrived on Xbox One all the way back in September 2015 but that doesn’t mean fresh content is in short supply. Today that content is once more given a fresh addition with the arrival of two new team DLC packs.

The arrival of the Khemri sees the return of a team that originally died 8000 years ago, but with the Blood Bowl’s revival bringing teams to the battle, the Khemri, consisting of shambling Skeletons and lumbering Mummies have once more been revived. Through the use of certain arcane devices that were dragged up from the tombs of the dead they not only possess the power of regeneration but also benefit from blocking and passing too, helping them surpass the other Undead teams on the books.

As for the Chaos Dwarfs, these are the twisted descendants of the Dwarf explorers, who have been terribly affected by the forces of Chaos, changing these Dwarfs into self-centered and evil little creatures. Joined by the legendary star-player Zzharg Madeye, the defence oriented Chaos Dwarfs benefit from the great velocity of their bull centaur retrievers and form a very powerful front line that can endure and apply a lot of pressure. Due to their size and low agility however, their ball-handling skills are very poor meaning they rely on Hobgoblins who are much more agile to push the game forward.

Both the Khemri and Chaos Dwarf packs are available now for the price of £5.59 each with the game available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Khemri DLC Description:

Over 8,000 years ago, the Khemri played the first ever games of Blood Bowl against the Slann. As the kingdom died off, so too did the game, until its rediscovery many centuries later and with the game’s revival, it was inevitable that these ancient players would return to play again.Being dead has its advantages, not only do they possess the Regeneration skill but due to certain arcane devices dragged up from the tombs of the dead, some Khemri players also benefit from Block and Pass too. This means that the Khemri team surpasses the other Undead teams when playing the ball as they can run and pass almost as well as similar players of the living races.Having a few faster players who can pass and run with the ball has its advantages but not if their team mates can’t keep up with them. With the majority of its team made up of shambling Skeletons and lumbering Mummies, the Khemri Coach needs all his centuries of experience not to lose his most useful players early on in the game.

Chaos Dwarfs DLC Description:

Chaos Dwarfs are the twisted descendants of Dwarf explorers who have been terribly affected by the forces of Chaos, turning them into evil, self-centered creatures. In one way they haven’t changed at all, they still love playing Blood Bowl! They are joined by the legendary star-player Zzharg Madeye. The Chaos Dwarfs are defence-oriented teams, benefiting from the great velocity of their bull centaur retrievers and from a very powerful front line that can endure (and apply) a lot of pressure. Also, one of their strongest characteristics is that powerful players, like bull centaurs, unlock their powerful skills very quickly. The main weakness of the Chaos Dwarfs stands in their poor ball-handling skills. Indeed, due to their tiny size and low agility, they have to rely on hobgoblins in order to push the game forward. Hobgoblins are quite agile, but are also very prone to getting crushed by any opponent.
