Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs launch trailer revealed!

-

There can be no debate that Assassin’s Creed Origins is right up there with the very best games from the series, and the addition of The Hidden Ones DLC increased its draw massively. Now though it’s time to head back to Egypt once more – just this time we’ll be checking out The Curse of the Pharaohs.

Releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 13th 2018, Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs is the latest downloadable content addition to push Origins to even newer heights. Coming as part of the Origins Season Pass, or available as a separate purchase, The Curse of the Pharaohs is set four years after the events found in the base game, and sees us given the chance to continue Bayek’s journey as he travels to the ancient city of Thebes to investigate a curse that is plaguing the region.

As you would expect, this latest expansion will immerse you in Egyptian mythology once more as you battle the famous pharaohs and mystical beasts, all whilst investigating the temples of Karnak and Luxor, along with the secret tombs of the Valley of the Kings.

What’s more, The Curse of the Pharaohs will see the level cap shifted up to 55 and introduces new crafting levels, resources and abilities – you will even be able to acquire new outfits and gear, including rare and legendary weapons, with everything themed around classic Egyptian mythology.

If you own the Assassin’s Creed Origins Season Pass, then you are good to go come the 13th March. If not, but have been taken in by the wonderful world of Bayek, then you’ll need to head on over to a digital store near you. In other words, make your way to the Microsoft Store asap.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out the launch trailer for The Curse of the Pharaohs below.
