After 20 years of playing every game I can get my hands on, I can now be found selling my soul for anything Resident Evil, Gears of War, or Gamerscore related... all of which will be mastered after a good cuppa!
Should you be after a game that can provide hours of fun or even some engaging experiences with friends, then Tetsumo Party isn’t likely to be your go-to game. It has a nice idea and if done better - dare I say maybe even with Kinect from back in the day - we could have been looking at a very interesting game. Sadly, that’s not the case
For a yearly release based on one of the biggest racing franchises, NASCAR Heat 4 doesn’t quite do it justice and even though those wanting a functional racer will find enough to be going on with, there aren't many reasons to pick this over any other racer on the market.
When it comes to survival horror, the first thing that many will want to talk about are the classic titles that kicked it all off; the Resident Evil’s and the Silent Hill’s of this world. Of course, since that point, survival horror has come a long way, evolving a lot, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t people out there who appreciate the roots of where it all began. With DAYMARE: 1998, that’s what the focus is centred around.
Recently I got the chance to get stuck in with Redout, the latest racer to hit the Xbox Store, and a game looking to bring futuristic visuals and fast-paced anti-gravity racing to our screens once more. Could it be the next Wipeout?
Whether you love the Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature or you hate it, there’s no denying the program continues to go from strength to strength with each new title made playable on Xbox One. And now we get to see another fresh bunch of new additions make their way to the Xbox One - but are they worth heading back to once more.
Are you a Company Man or a Fan Favourite? That’s the question being put to the players embarking on the road to WrestleMania in WWE 2K18’s MyCAREER Mode this year.
If the trailer released yesterday for Middle-earth: Shadow of War, showcasing the Feral Tribe, was good enough to get you excited for the release of the hugely anticipated title, then today’s videos will be the icing on the cake.
It’s almost been an entire year since Gears of War 4 landed on Xbox One and since that time, the guys over at The Coalition have been hard at work bringing us new maps and characters to expand on the experience... with a multitude of improvements and fixes coming along to bring a greater quality of life for Gears of War 4. Today sees the next two maps, Mercy and Harbour Haze, arrive for download via the Xbox Games Store, bringing the grand total of playable maps to thirty-two.
LEGO Dimensions may not have been the 'out of the park hit' that the guys over at Warner Bros had expected, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty of love coming in for the multi-dimensional LEGO title.
We may still be a month away from the arrival of the highly anticipated Middle-earth: Shadow of War, but that doesn’t make any new bits of information less exciting. Today Warner Bros have released the latest video for the game, this time showcasing the Feral Tribe to players for the first time.
It’s almost here... the exciting time of the year in which all of the biggest titles begin to drop, and we’re all forced to make a decision over which games to put the hours into first. Here are the best deals you bargain hunters should be looking out for between the 12th-18th September 2017... and the worst!
How much would you pay to go gold? That’s the question being posed by the latest DLC packs to arrive on the Xbox Games Store for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
I’m a huge fan of top down twin stick shooters. Add a little fast paced, bullet-hell gameplay to the mix and you’d be on the right tracks to filling my insatiable desire to find my next indie gem. Feral Fury is a game that has all the basic ingredients to be one such game, but to be a true great you need a little more than fast paced gameplay and twin stick action. Is it the next great game we should all be playing, or does it fall short of the mark?
It’s probably fair to say that my gaming tastes have changed rather dramatically over the years. After originally starting out my gaming days sliding through the corners of Bandai Namco’s Ridge Racer Revolution, trying to save the Mudokon Slaves of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and attempting to navigate the corners of the haunting Spencer Mansion within Resident Evil, there hasn’t really been many game genres I haven’t been keen to jump into. My early Xbox days saw my interest expand into the rhythmic musical addiction known as Guitar Hero. Unfortunately, recent years haven’t been great to the once iconic series, but that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of rhythm based music games. Here, with an RPG twist, is the latest attempt to revitalise the genre with The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor – but is it any good?
Whilst the current generation of gaming may see Xbox and PlayStation proving the most popular amongst the console market, it hasn’t always been that way. Anyone who remembers gaming in the ‘80s will certainly remember Nintendo’s NES taking centre stage under the TV. One franchise to make its name during the 8-bit’s greatest years was Megaman. Recent years have seen a revived Megaman experience come to consoles, with Megaman 1-6 brought to players in remastered fashion within the Megaman Legacy Collection. By popular demand, the rest of the games have now arrived on our stores with Megaman Legacy Collection 2 bringing Megaman 7, 8, 9 and 10 to Xbox One, complete with the same remastered greatness and a few extra features for hardcore fans to sink their teeth into.
With the Xbox One X pre-order excitement that came out of Gamescom and the plethora of new games that have hit the store this week, you’d be forgiven for forgetting all about Xbox Backwards Compatibility, especially given the quiet week from new arrivals. Things are heating up once more however with three all new additions bringing back the familiar faces of an unforgettable cast once more. Here are our thoughts on the latest corpse ridden Telltale additions to hit the backwards compatibility program.
It’s time to tweak that tuning setup, perfect those visuals and strap in to that harness before heading down to the track, as Forza Motorsport 5 is calling for all players with a free download now available thanks to Games With Gold!
Tom Clancy’s The Division has seen us tracing lost agents and trekking through the snow covered streets of mid-crisis Manhattan, New York for the best part of a year and a half now, but whilst content still remains plentiful, there is still much more yet to come from the guys over at Ubisoft.
The two games featured in the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection were big deals when first released. Playing them again now, it is clear to see why.
For those of you who have been living under a rock or deep in the jungle for the last ten years, the Devil May Cry games feature a protagonist called Dante. And this is Dante when he was just effortlessly cool...
It was only a few short weeks ago that we started calling it as a game, set, match, with confirmation of the release date for TopSpin 2K25. But today it's all about the player roster and brand equipment lists.
