Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.

FIFA 19 Review

The Premier League season is well underway, the Champions League is already throwing up some tasty fixtures and Manchester United are wondering if David Moyes really was the man for the job after all. The excitement of football is always at one of its highest ebbs during these early months of a season and EA Sports attempt to capitalise on that every year with their annual instalment of the FIFA series. Some may say that a yearly release makes it difficult to alter too much about a game, but can FIFA 19 prove that it’s a worthy addition to the series, or are you going to be paying over the odds for an experience that’s past its best?

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Review

Having a fair few instalments of the Ultimate Ninja Storm series, it’s about time that the Naruto games tried something different. Bandai Namco obviously thought the same as they teamed up with developers Soleil to produce Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. You’d be forgiven for thinking it’s a sort of zany football hybrid given the name, but in fact it’s an online multiplayer team-based battler with ninja worldwide vying to be the greatest shinobi ever. Does Shinobi Striker get the most out of the online battling arena scene, or has it scored an own goal with a poor attempt at freshening up the Naruto offerings?

Pinball FX3 – Star Wars Pinball: Solo Pack Review

Han Solo has been a regular character in the Star Wars films over the years, with Harrison Ford playing the part of the quick-witted smuggler to perfection in four major movie instalments. Recently though, the origins of the character were delved into for Solo: A Star Wars Story – with Alden Ehrenreich taking over the titular role - and Zen Studios decided to design a set of tables inspired by the blockbuster. There are already lots of tables from this franchise available to purchase in Pinball FX3, but can the Star Wars Pinball: Solo Pack deliver a pinball experience worthy of shedding out even more cash for?

Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala Review

The demonic preacher of Enigmatis has been a thorn in our side ever since we ventured into Maple Creek, popping up once more in Ravenwood too. Artifex Mundi have delivered us a third and final chapter to conclude the hidden object adventure, which will hopefully see us ridding the world of the preacher in the process. The previous instalments of Enigmatis leave the finale with a lot to live up to though, so can Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala really end the trilogy on a high point?

My Brother Rabbit Review

Artifex Mundi are synonymous with hidden object, point-and-click adventures that often see you investigating the disappearance of someone and then subsequently rescuing them from the clutches of demons, beasts and evil preachers. But now it’s time for something rather different as My Brother Rabbit aims to deliver a heart-warming adventure that delves into the imagination of children and the surreal worlds they often conjure up in their minds. Does it actually leave you all warm and fuzzy though, or should Artifex have just stuck with their tried and tested formula?
