Battlefield V arrives as WW2 explodes back into action

-

If you’re a fan of shooters, explosions and all things spectacular, then chances are you’re pretty excited about this year’s daddy of them all, Battlefield V. And it’s here right now!

Available from today is the FPS juggernaut that is Battlefield V, hitting consoles in all its Deluxe Edition glory.

Battlefield V is the 16 and latest title in the long running FPS series that has for many years been consistent in bringing players into the action with explosive set pieces, action-packed combat and tactical gunplay. This time round players are set to continue the trip back into the history books once more, with Battlefield V following on from Battlefield 1’s World War 1 adventures with a trek through the turmoil of World War II.

In Battlefield V, players will be able to head out into multiplayer and fight as a team across large scale maps, as well as taking part in Grand Operations and of course the Battlefield classic – Conquest mode. If you’re a story gamer at heart, then all is not lost, as War Stories is also on hand to take you through some heartfelt moments in a single player campaign offering.

Of course, those jumping into today’s release are doing so via the early access release window which is now available for buyers who opt in with the Battlefield V Deluxe Edition. This itself is interesting as it brings with it five sets of Paratrooper Outfits to customise your soldiers, extra weapons and some neat camos. It is available right now for the price of £79.99 (£71.99 with EA Access).

Alternatively, should you want to get in on the Battlefield V experience without the added expense of the Deluxe Edition, then the Battlefield V Standard Edition will be your necessary port of call, available to play from the 19th November 2018 for the price of £59.99 (£53.99 with EA Access).

No matter your platform of choice though, Battlefield V is available to play right now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Origin Access.
