donut county xbox one release

Yep, you’re reading that title right – in Donut County you play as a hole in the ground… and it’s available right now on Xbox One.

We’ll let that sink in for one minute, but yes, this is a game that is all about taking on the role of a hole in the ground, meeting the locals, stealing their trash, and then throwing them in a hole.

Available right now on Xbox One after previously releasing on PS4, Steam and iOS, Donut County is quite possibly one of he most absurd titles to ever come to this great console of ours… but in the same breath that makes it one of the most intriguing, and we’ll hugely interested in seeing how it all plays out.

A story-driven physics based puzzler that looks utterly cool, Donut County, trash is treasure in this game and it is up to you to collect as much of it as possible. Created by one man – Ben Esposito – who previously had design credits on the likes of What Remains of Edith Finch, you’ll find your time with Donut County spent exploring, moving, combining and catapulting things in order to solve puzzles and progress – or just because it is damn good fun.

Can you keep the hole growing? You’ll only find out by hitting up the Xbox Store and giving Donut County on Xbox One a shot.

You can use it to solve puzzles…or just destroy stuff.• DEVOUR everything. The hole won’t stop until the whole county is all gone.Donut County was created by Ben Esposito, designer on What Remains of Edith Finch and The Unfinished Swan. It is the result of six years of solo development, dozens of donuts (for research), and one fateful encounter with a raccoon.
