Behind the Scenes video released for Velocity 2X

The arrival of Velocity 2X on the Xbox One is getting closer and now, Sierra has released the first of two behind the scenes videos for it.

With this footage we get an insight from FuturLab into the development of Velocity 2X and how difficult it was to create a story interesting enough for the action and speed that this arcade shooter brought to the table. The character designs are also discussed, where it is noted that they were inspired by classic 80s sci-fi. Give it a watch and maybe it’ll sway your mind one way or another as to whether you’ll pick it up when it’s released on 19th August, 2015 for Xbox One and PC.
