It was all looking good for Blast Zone! Tournament to hit the Xbox One store back in February of 2019. That was until the bomb was dropped that a delay would be put in place, with no further release details provided. But hey, that was then and this is now, and surprise… Blast Zone! Tournament is now available on Xbox One.
Created, published, and handled by the team at Victory Lap Games, Blast Zone! Tournament moves into Xbox One territory to deliver a game in which fun and fast paced action mixes with the most explosive of combat.
Quite obviously inspired by the iconic Bomberman, and building on what the team at Victory Lap Games learnt with the launch of the original Blast Zone!, Tournament brings both solo and multiplayer options to gamers on Xbox One, as you get the chance to team up with others, or compete against them, in some frantic bomber-styled gameplay.
If you’re up for igniting the old fuse and are ready for what Blast Zone! Tournament delivers than you’ll quite possibly be pleased to hear that more than 240 unique challenges are available to nail in the solo mode, before you get to partake in the multiplayer side of things and the promise of 32-player online action.
With an Exhibition mode complete with AI, remote, local and party members, a whole host of game mode opportunities in place, and the chance to create your own unique master bomber from over 10 billion combinations of costumes and styles, it could well be said that the options are not lacking in Blast Zone! Tournament.
If you’re interested in what it brings then you’ll have to splash out the £16.74 asking price which it is available at from the Xbox Store for Xbox One. From there, it’s just a case of coercing your mates into joining you for a bit of bomb-fuelled fun!
