Brave: The Video Game now free to download on Xbox One and Xbox 360 thanks to Xbox Games With Gold

-

Like Brave the film? You’ll obviously like Brave: The Video Game then won’t you? How about if it is free to download?

Whilst we can’t guarantee that your time with Brave: The Video Game will be a good one, it’s good to see the price that is usually associated with this native Xbox 360 game has now been removed as the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for March 2018 kicks in to gear.

Usually priced at £8.99, if you wish to play as Merida, jumping, running and battling your way through the harshness of mythical Scotland, then now is your opportunity.

You’ll got until the middle of March in order to get your download rolling, and you’ll obviously need to be the proud owner of a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription, but should you tick those boxes and fancy spending a little time back in the world of the Brave, then you should. Xbox One owners shouldn’t feel left out either as thanks to the Xbox Back Comp feature, Brave can also be played over on the latest console.

The Microsoft Store will happily sort you out with a download. Just make sure you kick it into action prior to March 16th 2018. After that time, you’ll need to start paying for Brave again – and believe us, you won’t really want to do that.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
