There are a good many fishing games already available on Xbox One, but one of the very best is that of Fishing Sim World, particularly as it has taken on the Pro Tour moniker. And with multiple DLC packs already in place and offering numerous casting opportunities to gamers, you may think that the addition of two more wouldn’t be appreciated. But you’d be wrong, and the arrival of lakes at Lough Kerr and Talon Fishery ensure that once more Fishing Sim World starts flexing the muscles.
Available to purchase and download into Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour – and obviously you’ll need the brilliant base game to hand first – are two new fisheries, that of Lough Kerr and Talon Fishery.
Priced up at £6.49 each, or available as a double pack for £9.99, the Lough Kerr and Talon Fishery content packs give virtual anglers the chance to cast out, kick back, and watch the fish land once more.
Taking the Lough Kerr pack initially and taking a trip to Ireland is one that many will enjoy. With a lake famour for bream fishing, this will allow the chance for you to start landing some big fish, with the Banshee possibly available at a huge 21lbs. There are also carp available too though, alongside a variety of tench, roach and rudd. Throw in three new single player tounrnaments, a handful of new career mode events and a smattering of glorious achievements, and anyone found enjoying the base game of Fishing Sim World will no doubt find this an interesting prospect.Â
Sitting alongside the Lough Kerr DLC though is that of Talon Fishery. Providing carp of over 30lbs, a ton of catfish, multiple bream, tench, roach and rudd, this fishing complex will see you given a ton of decisions – the first being which of the four lakes you should cast out from. With many islands to enjoy, bridges to work from, and walkways to take in, when you also include the extra career events and tournaments that the Talon Fishery pack includes, and once more you’ll be an angler in heaven.Â
