Catastronauts gets set for a September collision course on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Nintendo Switch to follow

-

There is nothing better than getting some mates together on the couch and partaking in a bit of interstellar party action. Catastronauts promises to deliver just that.

Due to hit Xbox One, PS4 and PC come September 28th 2018 (with a Switch version dropping a little later), Catastronauts will crash into view to bring a fast-paced, chaotic couch co-op experience that sees 1-4 players assume the role of an intergalactic starfleet locked in an epic battle with an invading enemy vessel and unrelenting disaster.

With an Xbox One and PS4 price of £12.79 and a slightly cheaper £12.39 tag on Steam confirmed, you’ll need to utilise all your coordination and cooperation skills in order to find success. Decisiveness is also utterly important with Catastronauts, if only because multiple tasks will need to be dealt with simultaneously – systems need repairing, blazing fires need to be extinguished and the torpedos need to be armed. You’ll want to do it fairly swiftly too – but all without killing your friends in the process.

If you thought invading enemy fighters were enough to contend with, then think again as each level offers unique challenges and dangers to overcome, including malfunctioning extraction doors that can suck crewmembers out into the harsh, unforgiving voids and toasty solar flares that have been known to reduce budding Catastronauts to a pile of ash in mere seconds.

Should you be attending EGX 2018 then you’ll find Inertia Game Studios in attendance with Catastronauts, allowing you to get some early hands on time with the game before its launch.

Make sure you grab some friends and enlist today – for an entire galaxy of misadventure awaits!

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
