Live by the Sword: Tactics skirts too close to doing that bare minimum. It spends its resources in all the wrong places, focusing on game modes rather than developing the board pieces, abilities and game mechanics that would have made it sing.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition offers a fairly pricey way to boost your character roster. Some will love it, but it may well be lost on others. Still, the base game is brilliant.

If you enjoyed the base game of Inertial Drift, then more content is always welcome. And if you never played it the first time around, the addition of the Twilight Rivals content means it is a good time to jump in, if only as it is capable of providing a fun diversion to the norm.

I’ve lost count of the amount of dungeons I’ve trawled through over the years; slaughtering any beast or creature who dares to stand in my path as I seek out some ancient treasure. But I do often wonder, what if the shoe was on the other foot and I had to defend my dungeon from pesky intruders? Well that’s essentially the premise of Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager, a roguelite dungeon management game developed by the aptly named Goblinz Studio. 

My Fantastic Ranch is a sturdy, basic management sim that acts as a gateway to the genre. It also manages to satisfy a fantasy that a lot of younger players might have: to own and ride twenty-odd dragons and unicorns. 

Goat Simulator 3 isn’t perfect, feeling rough and ready as you play. But this is what Goat Simulator has always been.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Ultimate Edition is a lot of fun, and the new content certainly adds to the base game.
