The kings of pinball are most certainly Zen Studios, and after providing a pretty stunning base experience with Pinball FX3, have further pushed the boundaries with multiple DLC packs since. A good few of those have come featuring some classic Williams Pinball tables, and that number is soon due to expand, by two, with the arrival of the Williams Pinball: Universal Monsters Pack.

Coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam through Pinball FX3, and via the Williams Pinball App for iOS and Google Play should you prefer the mobile scene, the Williams Pinball: Universal Monsters Pack will delivers both Monster Bash and Creature from the Black Lagoon in time for Halloween.

The tables will launch on October 29th 2019, giving pinball wizards the chance to grow their library once more, pushing out the scares and racking up the high scores as they do so.

Both the tables will be available as classic simulations, in addition to now standard re-mastered versions, featuring interactive and animated iconic Universal Monster characters. This means that players can reunite the creatures of the night in Monster Bash, as they rebuild Frankenstein, dig out The Mummy, unleash a full moon for The Wolf Man, spell out D-R-A-C-U-L-A, lure Creature from the Black Lagoon up from the slimy depths, and get Bride of Frankenstein to wail about her ball and chain.

Further to that, in Creature from the Black Lagoon, players can experience all the excitement of Universal Studios’ classic monster flick with the fun of a drive-in movie date. Nostalgia meets high-tech pinball wizardry on this table, and the results are breathtaking.

Williams Pinball: Universal Monsters Pack also includes the flipper physics system that debuted in Williams Pinball Volume 4, further perfecting the already brilliant gameplay.

You’ll just have to hop over to your usual digital store to grab the content when it arrives on the 29th October. The Xbox Store is the best place for Xbox gamers to frequent.
