Three Fields Entertainment are back on the Xbox One with their spiritual successor to the Burnout Series in the form of Danger Zone, fresh from releasing their literally smashing game, Dangerous Golf.
Danger Zone takes the form of a training facility designed for you to crash into cars at high speed, and earn money while doing so! Anyone who has played the Crash mode on the Burnout games will feel immediately at home with this game. And this Xbox version has a few added extras including 12 additional crash scenarios and five extra cars at your disposal. If that wasn’t enough, Xbox One X enhancements have been promised, meaning native 4K and 60FPS crashes with even more crash scenarios!
Features include:
- Single Player Game Mode featuring 32 unique crash testing scenarios.
- 5 player vehicles
- Connected Leaderboards allows comparison of player scores for Friends and the whole world.
Available now priced at £11.99, Danger Zone is one game that certainly offers more bang for your buck. Get over to the Microsoft Store right now. Keep an eye out for our review too – it’s coming very, very soon.
Game Description:
Danger Zone is a new 3D vehicular destruction game from independent British developer and seasoned genre veterans Three Fields Entertainment. The concept is simple : crash for cash by creating the biggest car crash. Welcome to the Danger Zone – a virtual Crash Testing Facility. Step into the shoes of a dangerous driver and survive a variety of challenging crash testing scenarios. It’s easy to crash, but can you also grab all of the Bonus Pickups? Powered by Unreal Engine, Danger Zone combines real physical crashes with explosive gameplay. Shunt vehicles into oncoming traffic, take down trailers to shed their payloads and use your explosive “Smashbreaker” to move your vehicle around. The more explosions you cause, the bigger your score. If you’re feeling burnt out by congestion and jammed roads, take the highway to the Danger Zone. Take your revenge on rush hour traffic. This place is a paradise for those who like their driving flame-grilled.
WOW. For a console that had such a dreadful year for exclusives, you sure do get the 3rd party games later, whenever the devs get around to bringing it to your console. It was the case in 2014 and its still the case almost 4 years later.
Pretty amazing how we manage to ever sleep at the end of the day huh? Made it through 4 years too! We rock 🙂
If, when the Xbox does receive 3rd party games late, we get more stuff levels/features/etc as is the case here, then I am more than happy to wait 5 months. This is a bare bones game for the Xbox One, and this version has 12 more crash junctions than the PS4/Steam version at launch, so owners on those consoles got the poor deal at the end of the day
