Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is now available to download. After a new multiplayer fighter?

Available right now on Xbox One and dropping on PS4 tomorrow, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare brings a deep melee fighting system, fast combat and control over each and every strike in either a first or third person view. With four classes available – Knight, Vanguard, Man-at-Arms and Archer – you’ll get the chance to conquer or defend castles and villages in ruthless battles.  With a whole host of single player and team based game modes available, over 60 period-authentic swords, axes, maces and more to use, as well as armours, helmets and siege weapons included, the warfare should be of top notch quality.

There are two versions of the game now available, the standard edition or the Ultimate edition which brings in the Barbarian Character Pack, Marauding Arbiter Pack, Inquisitive Dreadnaught Bundle and Barbarian Weapon Pack. The £15.99 price tag of the standard game is more than tempting, with the ultimate edition coming in at a whopping £41.74

Game Description:

An internet connection and a connection to Xbox Live are required to play this game. Besiege castles and raid villages in this 24 player online experience. Trade in your guns and grenades to test your mettle against cold hard steel on the medieval battlefield. • Now including over 25 battlefields, up to 24 player online multiplayer, and an all new Horde Mode. • Deep melee combat system allows you to wield an arsenal of 60+ brutal weapons ranging from broad swords to longbows. • Switch between the intense combat of first-person to the tactical view of third-person anytime during battle. • Team tactics and strategy bring players together to batter down gates and assassinate enemy royalty to achieve victory. • Use a variety of siege weapons ranging from catapults, boiling oil, ballista, battering rams and more.
