Comedic cloud-based game Rain on your Parade coming to PC and consoles in 2020

Rain on your Parade

Unbound Creations have just announced their latest title, Rain on your Parade, is releasing in 2020 and it looks set to provide a humorous, cloud focused experience that’ll have you literally raining on everyone’s parade.

Unlike the thought-provoking, social commentary found in the developer’s recent offering Headliner: NoviNews, Rain on your Parade is more about having a bit of fun; after all, you will be playing as a cloud. Prepare for a rather whimsical romp through a variety of levels, each possessing their own theme. One moment you may be exploring – or destroying – a quaint farmhouse and garden, whilst the next has your happy little cloud defending against armed forces. The humans are the least of the worries though, with the horrible sun needing to be avoided at all costs.

You’ll get to customise the cloud and learn new weather abilities like thunder or tornado, which will enable you to cause as much mayhem as possible. There’s also going to be an evolving score system and hidden achievements which, when combined with a wide array of power ups and humour, hopes to provide an uplifting experience that aims to never get old. So expect the unexpected and get ready for a few laughs along the way too.

As it stands, Rain on your Parade is currently confirmed as coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on a rainy day in 2020. But fear not Xbox gamers, because its release on more consoles is expected to be announced by Unbound Creations at a later date.

Are you looking forward to causing havoc and ruining everyone’s day as a charming cloud when Rain on your Parade launches? Get in touch and let us know via the comments section below or on social media! And if you wish to know more, check out the Alpha Trailer from a few weeks back, below.
