Are you ready to defend your home from the most evil race ever? The humans are coming, and in Attack of the Earthlings on Xbox One and PS4, you’ll be found spending your time fighting them off.

Available right now for purchase and download from the usual digital stores, Attack of the Earthlings from Team Junkfish and Wales Interactive turns the tables slightly on the usual ‘save the humans’ scenarios that many videogames run down, to instead put you in the charge of the Swarmers, a race of insectoid species who are trying to save their world from the invading humans.

Killing and consuming humans will allow you to expand your army , helping in your quest to become the ultimate race, ensuring that you will have enough biomass in place to see your standard grunts magically transformed into a more highly specialised unit, with various roles and abilities available.

A £14.99 price tag is currently discounted down to £11.99, to celebrate the launch of Attack of the Earthlings on Xbox One, and so if you fancy picking up this turn-based comedy infused strategy title, then now is the time to get involved. The Xbox Store or PlayStation Store will sort you out.

Our full review will be with you very shortly too. Keep an eye out for it.

Game Description:

Attack of the Earthlings combines turn-based combat and stealth in a dark comedic single player campaign, where you take control of the native alien race to defend your home world from the invading humans. You control the Swarmers, a highly aggressive insectoid species, who must kill and consume humans in order to expand your army to repel the Galactoil Corporation from your homeworld. As you gain more biomass (the fleshy currency converted from eating humans), your grunts can be transformed into new more specialised units units with different roles and unique abilities. You must sneak, kill and consume your way up the 7 levels of the Galactoil Drill thwarting the plans set in place by the game’s two main antagonists – PA Pecker and RM Dickinham.
