The beauty of Rock Band 4 is that at any given time you can call up your mates, fire up the game and take on all manner of musical delights, delving deep into the huge library of tunes that it contains. Even better than that is that each week we see that library continue to increase – something which is happening again here today with tunes from Darius Rucker and Meredith Brooks.

Having gathered various degrees of fame – Brooks with the iconic ‘Bitch’ and Rucker as a founding member of ’80s rockers Hootie & the Blowfish – it could well be said that this pairing are a perfect fit for the Rock Band world to embrace, allowing fans from back in the day to wonder once more as they attempt to nail the latest Rock Band tunes. Those who missed the beat first time round will be able to get a grip of exactly what made the artists, and the tunes, such valuable commodities.

There really is no better way of understanding the sheer joy of certain tunes than by jamming away with some mates, attempting to recreate the musical vibes that help keep the world spinning. Yes, you could drop into Spotify or Google Play Music and take in a quick listen, but for the chance to go properly deep, grabbing an instrument and learning the ins and outs is the way to go.

If you feel that is something you’d like to try again then the addition of these latest tunes to the Rock Band 4 library will no doubt delight, with Brooks and Rucker delivering the following tunes…

  • Bitch – Meredith Brooks
  • Wagon Wheel – Darius Rucker

You’ll obviously need the base game of Rock Band 4 on either Xbox One or PS4 to hand prior to even considering a download of either tune, but should that be in place already then a quick hop over to your favoured digital store – Xbox Store or PlayStation Store – will sort you out. Each of the songs listed are available to download right now for £1.59.

Will you be rocking out to Bitch, or rolling along with the Wagon Wheel? Let us know in the comments below.
