When Ratalaika Games rock up onto our favourite digital stores it can mean only one thing – new, cheap, intriguing games. And with the launch of Deep Space Rush, that is never more true.

Available to purchase and download right this second, Deep Space Rush is the latest ported title to be taken on by the team at Ratalaika Games – they behind the likes of Mochi Mochi Boy and Mekabolt, for instance – providing us the chance to join the DeTeam and save the universe from biological threats.

Priced up at a rather easy-to-handle £4.19, Deep Space Rush will see you joining the most elite security force in the galaxy as you go about protecting a variety of space stations from being contaminated by viruses. With randomly generated levels, a decent chiptune soundtrack and opportunities to grab new weapons and upgrades, Deep Space Rush certainly looks to have it all. And what’s more, should you get in early, that price is discounted at launch too.

Features include:

  • * Play through randomly generated levels with uniquely placed traps and monsters
  • * Turn up the beat to dynamic chiptune music by HateBit
  • * Stop the infection by purchasing new weapons and upgrades

Tempted by the cheap price tag? Just like what Ratalaika Games have provided the gaming community previously? The usual digital stores will give full access to a download of Deep Space Rush, with us Xbox One gamers making the most of the brilliant Xbox Store. You will however also find the game available on PS4 and PS Vita, while a Nintendo Switch drop is fast approaching.

However you decide to get involved though matters little – just grab your guns and get eliminating those threats!

Game Description:

Join the DeTeam! A top-secret security force that protects the scientific space stations from virus contaminations! Take on randomly generated levels to save everyone before they all get infected. Avoid traps and monsters to survive the sweep! Are you ready to protect the space stations from biological threats? Then grab your gun, jump into your ship, and prepare for lift-off!

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
