Download The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories now on Xbox One

-

It doesn’t exactly slip off the tongue but The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories has now hit Xbox One.

Available to purchase and download right now, The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories drops you on to the titular island and into the shoes of J.J. Macfield, as she heads off on an adventure to find her missing friend.

Priced up at £23.99, The MISSING brings some rather unique mechanics to the table, as even though this island is full of mystery and delivers danger at every corner, you can’t actually die – even when you find yourself seriously injured. Horrifically, this may mean you go about proceedings with the risk of having your arms and legs removed, all as you help J.J work her way through the woods and find her friend.

And it’ll only be by completing the adventure will you finally get the chance to solve the mysteries of the island and understand just exactly what powers The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories.

If you wish to give it a shot, then the Xbox Store will provide you with a download. Just make sure you are ready for the strange experience that it delivers.

Game Description:

The sudden disappearance of a dear friend spurs J.J. Macfield to go look for her friend on the curious Island of Memories.
You can’t die on this nightmare island, even if you’re seriously injured. No matter
how many times J.J.’s brought back from the grips of death, she drags her
mangled body deeper into the woods.
She risks the suffering of having her arms and legs torn off, her neck broken, immolation…all in order to find her friend.
J.J. sacrifices her own body and life on this journey so she can discover the answers to her questions: Why did my friend leave? What is this uncomfortable feeling?
