You may remember that Bandai Namco had planned to start a closed beta for Dragon Ball Fighterz soon, with the registration process kicking off on July 26th 2017. Well, there’s good news and bad news as even though we now have confirmed dates for the beta, the whole registration process has been smacked with a delay.
First up is news that registration will now commence on 22nd August 2017. Due to the volume of excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the initial announcement, Bandai have decided to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate in the program. There are also working to bolster the background systems to ensure that the closed beta registration and selection process can accept the volume of anticipated sign-ups. But all these additions add to a bit of a delay, hence the new date of 22nd August.
The good news however is regarding the actual dates of the beta, with the 16th and 17th September 2017 playing host to the finest Dragon Ball Fighterz. Exact times are as follows:
EUROPE (UK) CST
1st Session* 10:00am – 13:00pm (Saturday)
2nd Session* 18:00pm – 21:00pm (Saturday)
3rd Session* 2:00am – 5:00am (Sunday)
4th Session* 21:00pm – 00:00am (Sunday/Monday)
Timings are obviously subject to change, but in an effort to make the closed beta as good as it can be, more characters will now be included!
Dragon Ball Fighterz will be available for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC in early 2018.
