Available for download on Xbox 360 and Xbox One via Xbox Backwards Compatibility, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon has been stripped of its price tag for the next few weeks, with thanks for the offering going straight out to the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for May 2019.
Usually priced at £14.99, this native 360 title sees you attempting to save Earth from hordes of giant insects and aliens, with you joining the Earth Defense Force in order to do so. Taking on the invaders and knocking them back is par for the course with Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, and with more than 300 weapons included, and 4 armor types ready for use, you can be sure that you’ll find something well worth utilising.
A number of survival modes are also in place in Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, whilst 3 player online cooperative play can take place should you be able to coerce a mate or two in to lending you a hand.
As a hardcore shooter that is running for free via the Games With Gold scheme, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon should be something that you pick up as a matter of urgency; perhaps not to play immediately, but certainly as one of those games which you can save for a later rainy day.
