It’s one of Bandai Namco’s most anticipated games of the year, and now finally Code Vein is ready for action, releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Available to purchase and download from the usual digital stores for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Code Vein is the latest gruelling action-RPG to hit the market, pretty much a year later than was first confirmed.
But hey, we’re in the gaming industry and delays are part of life, and so the extra time that has been taken to ensure that this is able to hit the highs that are expected of it are appreciated in these parts, especially now that the full game is here.
What should we begin to expect from Code Vein though? Well, Code Vein throws you into the life of a Revenant as you begin to wander a huge open world that piles on the most post-apocalyptic dystopian environment you could ever imagine. From there you’ll need to work with allies, exploring the world ahead as you uncover and understand the ‘Lost’.
But it won’t just be about wandering the environment and hoping for the best – expect to find yourself taking on a ton of enemies, and fighting back against some monstrous bosses all as you try to understand the complex secret of Vein.
If you’re tempted by what Code Vein brings then you may well wish to keep an eye out for our upcoming review – it’ll be with you very soon, however our thoughts taken from the recent technical test will be able to provide a few details right now. But should you be sold already and wish to get a download of Code Vein added to your digital library, then the Standard Edition of the game will provide everything you need for £49.99.
That is complemented by the Deluxe Edition for £64.99, with it containing not just the base game, but the Season Pass, a Season Pass bonus in the form of some Mia Bonus Content, and another extra little Deluxe Edition bonus – the Insatiable Bloodthirst accessory pack. That Season Pass is also available to purchase individually too – a price of £19.99 is all that it costs and will ensure access to new story content, enemies, areas where you can find weapons and Blood Veils, and more.

Game Description:
In the face of certain death, we rise. In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity. Wandering aimlessly in search of blood, the Lost will stop at nothing to satisfy their hunger. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in CODE VEIN.
