Enigmatis

After much success on Xbox One with the likes of Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink and Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart, Polish developer Artifex Mundi are back and this time you’ll be getting to experience The Ghosts of Maple Creek.

Arriving on April 8th, Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek will arrive on Xbox One, giving console gamers the chance to play the first part of Artifex Mundi’s highly acclaimed series.

A detective-adventure, Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek takes place in a small town in the middle of nowhere – Maple Creek, Vermont, USA. The main character wakes up in the evening in the middle of a road and the only thing that she can be sure of is the fact that a powerful storm has passed over the town. She can’t remember what has happened in the past few days. The chilling shivers running down her spine hint at the dramatic events that have taken place. This is the beginning of a bloodcurdling story.

As with their previous Xbox One additions, the HUD in Enigmatis has been revamped to fit the unique console controls, making it more comfortable to play on bigger screens. It’s also the longest Artifex Mundi Xbox One game yet, with up to 8 hours of gameplay and an extra adventure that is unlocked after the main story has been completed.

Features include:

  • A rich setting in pastoral Vermont
  • A spine-tingling detective story
  • Unique puzzles and minigames that will test your mettle
  • Beautiful hand-painted locations
  • Unlock a bonus adventure – a prequel story that lets you follow in Hamilton’s footsteps

You’ll be able to pick up Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek for 9.99 EUR and 9.99 USD. We will of course remind you when it arrives, but for now, check out the screens below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
