To celebrate the launch of yet another Neverwinter expansion, Lost City of Omu, we’ve partnered up with Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios once more. This time we’re giving away Xbox One codes for a rather creepy looking in-game mount. So, hands up if you want a Spider!
Neverwinter is a free-to-play MMORPG on Xbox One, PS4 and PC featuring fast-paced combat and epic dungeons, as well as the vast city and countryside to explore whilst battling all sorts of enemies. The Lost City of Omu expansion features crumbling temple ruins, a labyrinth of underground tunnels and a new instance focused on the monstrous yuan-ti. The Monster Hunts from the Tomb of Annihilation return to bring greater threats such as the dreaded Tyrant T-Rex, which naturally offers more valuable rewards for besting. Players must learn the secrets of Omu’s Trickster Gods to access the Tomb in its entirety and finally face Acererak’s wrath. Can you take them down?
Our codes will allow you to instantly acquire an in-game mount based on this expansion – a Spider mount with a tropical colour scheme. But what exactly are these Spiders and what benefit do they bring?
Well, the visionary artisan Suratuk has conjured up a selection of limited run, custom-mounts. Freshly-coated and ready to scurry off into battle with the release of Lost City of Omu expansion, these vicious arachnids didn’t become Tropic-Colored without inflicting several bites on the artist.
Stats for these limited run mounts include:
- +50 Movement Speed
- Two insignia slots
How do you get one of these Tropic-Coloured Spiders? Well, it’s quite simple really. It’s free to enter and Neverwinter is free to download and play, so you’ve got absolutely nothing to lose. Just give us a shout and we’ll fire you a code over as soon as we possibly can. All you need to do to get hold of a code is follow and tweet us on Twitter or pay our Facebook page a visit, give it a like and then message us via that page to ask for one. Either of those processes will do, and feel free to spread the word about this giveaway. Please bear with us as we work through all of your requests.
Codes will be given out on a first come, first served basis, but we’ve got a limited amount of them to distribute so don’t delay getting involved or you’ll miss out!
Redemption Instructions:
Xbox One:
- Install Neverwinter from the Xbox One marketplace: http://store.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox-One/Games/Neverwinter/0b94d2a2-180b-4b80-a157-2e396d567cb2
- Upon launching Neverwinter, you’ll have the option to link your gamertag with an Arc account. This will open the Internet browser on your Xbox One and you can complete the account linking process there. If you skip it now, you’ll have another opportunity later.
- Once you’re in Neverwinter, select the Arc option.
- Install Arc. (You can also search for Arc in the Xbox One Marketplace)
- Launch Arc and hit the X button.
- Enter your code in the field and select “Redeem.”
- Head back to Neverwinter and find the Reward Claims Agent in Protector’s Enclave to pick up your item!
Please note that these items will bind on pickup and may only be redeemed once per account. The code expires December 31, 2020.
