It’s free to enter and Star Trek Online is free to download and play, so you’ve nothing to lose. All you need to do to get hold of a code is follow and tweet us a message on Twitter, join our Facebook group and private message us, or pay our Facebook page a visit, giving it a like and then sending us a private message. Any of those processes will do, and feel free to spread the word about this giveaway.

If you don’t use Twitter or Facebook but would still like to be in with a chance of getting a code, then make sure you pay our forums a visit and drop a reply in to the relevant forum post with your Xbox Gamertag. We’ll then send the code via Xbox messaging.

Codes will be given out on a first come, first served basis, and we’ve got 50 to distribute.

Redemption instructions:

To Redeem Your Code on Xbox One:

1. Install Star Trek Online from the Xbox One marketplace.

2. Upon launching Star Trek Online, you’ll have the option to link your gamertag with an Arc account. This will open the Internet browser on your Xbox One and you can complete the account linking process there. If you skip it now, you’ll have another opportunity later.

3. Once you’re in Star Trek Online, select the Arc option.

4. Install Arc. (You can also search for Arc in the Xbox One Marketplace)

5. Launch Arc, Select Star Trek and hit the X button.

6. Enter your code in the field and select “Redeem.”

7. Visit the C-Store in-game. Rewards can be found on the tab marked “Promotions.”

*These codes are only eligible for the Xbox One version of Star Trek Online and can only be redeemed by one character on a single account from each corresponding faction.

Codes expire December 31, 2020.

What are you waiting for? If you want a code – all you need to do is ask 🙂

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.

Never played, but been tempted a few times. Love Star Trek, right back to the original series. Would be nice if there was an option to participate via this forum/site instead of social media…. :/

The graphics are terrible – looks like a PS2 game… but the voice acting and the stories seem to be decent and feel very ‘Star Trek’. Looks like they got Leonard Nimoy to do some voice-work in it before he passed away too which is cool. Not having any joy with these codes though – says my in-game character cannot use them. Have had to raise a ticket with support…

It’s free to play so worth a shot if you are a Trekkie but brace yourself for an initial disappointment in the looks department – it ain’t no Battlefront 2 that’s for sure!

I don’t know what’s up to be honest. I had a mare of a time getting the codes to redeem at first because I had already linked my Arc account to my xbox way back when I played Neverwinter. I had to unlink my gamertag from my Arc account and then link it back again using the Trek Online link code and then it recognised me from both games.

I was then able to redeem the codes but that’s only half of the process because you then have to claim the stuff they unlock from the in-game store. This is where it falls apart completely – just keep getting this error “Your character cannot use this item” no matter which of the 3 packs I try to “claim”.

As I said I’ve logged a ticket with them – hope they sort it soon as I do want to give this a proper go. The stuff in those bundles gives you quite a jump start in the game.

Urgh, That doesn’t sound good then. The gameplay on youtube looks okay-ish for a freebie. Big question – does it have Borg in it?
