Some might well say that The Escapists 2 on Xbox One was already special, but today we see the digital release of a Special Edition of the game – and it should just about be enough to tempt you over the line and on towards a purchase.
Released back in August as a follow-up to the outstanding original game, The Escapists 2 gave us the chance to test out our prison breaking skills once more, this time putting them to the ultimate test. With brand new items available, tons of customisation options and new thrilling means of escape all in place, it certainly didn’t disappoint. But what do we have now? Well, the Special Edition promises to be the Ultimate Prison sandbox, bringing together the base game and the Season Pass as one. That in turn sees three brand new prisons available for you to conquer, even more items to mess around with and further customisation features. If you already thought you knew the best way to escape, then you may well wish to think again!
