Eternal Card Game brings true free-to-play strategic card playing to Xbox One

-

It’s not often you get something for free in this world, but today sees you given just that chance. Eternal – the strategic card player that has previously wowed crowds on PC and mobile – has arrived on Xbox One… and it’s truly free-to-play.

Coming from Dire Wolf Digital, the strategy card game Eternal is set in a magical world of six-guns and plenty of sorcery, bringing unlimited choices and an infinite amount of possibilities. It also brings cross-platform support, and promises to combine next-gen generosity with some of the most classic collectible card battles.

This all plays out to see Eternal deliver a card based affair that is full of tactical elements, fast paced action and a ton of polish, allowing gamers across the globe the chance to mix multiple cards how they see fit to build whatever deck they can imagine.

Now you may well be siting there wondering how the development team behind Eternal are going to make their cash, worried that a multitude of microtransactions may well affect the gameplay. Thankfully you’d be wrong though as every single card in the game can be acquired for free, with just non-cosmetic Avatars, Totems and the like requiring cash should you wish to drop some.

Basically put, if you like your card games, and want a new freebie to spend some time with, Eternal may just be one to consider. Our full review of Eternal Card Game is right here, and we obviously reckon you should give that a little look prior to getting a download in, but the free nature of the game ensures that even if you don’t like what you find, you won’t be out of pocket.

In order to get involved with the card playing world of Eternal, just head on over to the Xbox Store right now.
