Green Lava Studios have today released Fenix Furia (previously known as Fenix Rage), onto the Xbox One Games Store. It promises to keep your palms sweaty and your thumbs aching as you take on the role of Fenix, an alien hedgehog whose village is decimated by a huge explosion.
For a measly £11.99 (or for a limited time, £9.59 for all Xbox Live Gold subs), you;ll get to experience hundreds of lightning paced levels as you test your jump ability, dash and sprint. With online leaderboards promised and a whole ton of enemies, music and environments to check out, it could well be worth a little shot. Fenix Furia mechanics are unique yet simple – infinite jump and dash paired with instant restarts. Race through hundreds of increasingly difficult levels, with new mechanics like fire, ice and jump portals. Each level has a split-second of opportunity for passage through the hordes of unrelenting enemies; either approach the obstacles through trial and error or pause to mentally traverse the level and plan for an optimal route. Try to top the leaderboards while listening to slick retro-inspired music while conquering a myriad of addicting challenges.
