Announced by the teams at The Wild Gentleman and their publishers at HandyGames is Chicken Police, a film-noir inspired buddy cop adventure which will have you attempting to solve a crime that is so mysterious, that more than a few feathers will be ruffled.
Chicken Police will launch on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2020, to tell the tale of Sonny Featherland and Marty MacChicken, a once a legendary detective-duo who now find themselves as a washed-up wreck and a wannabe star-detective.
But some things can never change and when a most mysterious case comes along, getting weirder by the hour and more dangerous than anything the two have faced before, Sonny and Marty come back together to face the demons of their dark past, taking on a journey through the crooked city of Clawville.
Running as a story-driven, chicken-fuelled, dialogue heavy adventure, Chicken Police will see you working your way through a visual novel that mixes with a classic adventure title. With a stunningly peculiar visual style with artistic photo-manipulation and lifelike 3D backgrounds, it all looked highly interesting and this is hammered home even more when we consider the included dark story and satire which recalls the mood and atmosphere inspired by classic film-noir movies of the 40s.
