The Xbox Game Pass keeps on going from strength to strength with a regular influx of new games, but sadly for us, some of them seemingly have to leave. So, which of the current titles have outstayed their welcome and are getting removed at the end of October?
If the handful of games that left the service in September didn’t bother you, with the likes of Tower of Guns and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell amongst them, then we’re pretty confident that October’s removals will barely make you flinch either. There are five games vacating Xbox Game Pass when the month comes to end and that includes an Xbox 360 title. Whilst Resident Evil is a big name to be cut, everyone who wants to play this classic will have done so at some point already, especially since it first released many moons ago. Sky Force Anniversary however is a hidden gem that we urge subscribers to have a go at before it leaves.
The following games listed below are set to leave Xbox Game Pass on 31st October:
- Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty – Xbox One
- Resident Evil – Xbox One
- Sky Force Anniversary – Xbox One
- World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap – Xbox One
- MEGA MAN 9 – Xbox 360
That means you’ve got almost two weeks to give the games that take your fancy a whirl, but don’t forget that if you want to keep playing them beyond the date of removal, there’s a 20% discount on their usual purchase price to take advantage of until that occurs.
