The Dark Lord still brings chaos to Middle-earth, but now it’s time to put an end to him once and for all in Shadow of War. Do you have enough power and allies to make it possible?
Talion and Celebrimbor must use their bond once more to take on the deadliest enemies that Middle-earth has to offer, including Sauron and Ringwraiths as well as lesser monsters like ferocious graugs and creepy spiders. Venturing through the expansive world and new regions, the aim is to recruit an army, create a new Ring of Power and dominate Mordor from within. The Orcs are now in Tribes, each of which has its own culture and have an influence within the Orc society.
The Nemesis System makes a return and is set to have improvements to enable players to experience even more unique and personal stories, whilst also ensuring the Fortresses you encounter are different. It ensures that each person’s playthrough is tailored to how they go about their business in Middle-earth; a place filled with enemies who never forget when you’ve defeated one of their own.
Those looking to tear down Sauron’s empire can do so right now in Middle-earth: Shadow of War on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Should you want the Standard Edition from the Microsoft Store you will have to pay £54.99, whilst the Silver Edition – granting access to the Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion, the Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion and a Silver War Chest – is available at a cost of £69.99. If money is no object, then for £89.99 you can get your hands on the Gold Edition, which includes the aforementioned expansions as well as The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion and a Gold War Chest. You can grab the Expansion Pass as a standalone purchase as well – £32.99 isn’t cheap but we reckon it’ll be worth it.
Don’t forget it’s an Xbox Play Anywhere title too.
