After an extensive beta on PlayStation 4, the heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe have finally arrived on the Xbox One. Suit up gamers; it’s time to stop Doctor Doom and his allies!
Doctor Doom has gained possession of the Cosmic Cube, a device capable of changing the fabric of reality and he plans to wield its power to devastate the world. You’ve got the power to stop him and any other evildoers lurking about, with the help of friends and an expansive library of super heroes to choose from; including Hulk, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Iron Man, Captain America and many more. Even though it’s a free-to-play title, each hero is fully playable up to level 10 and your roster can be bolstered without parting with any cash – there appears to be no catch, you just have to play it.
To get involved with Marvel Heroes Omega, which brings the core mechanics of both action-RPG and MMO games together, simply journey on over to the Xbox Games Store. It’s free after all, so what have you got to lose?
If you do want to spend cash though, there’s DLC in the form of the X-Men Founder’s Pack and the Avengers Founder’s Pack – instantly unlocking six characters, some costumes and a load of in-game currency, for a whopping £44.99!
Also available are the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man: Homecoming, War Machine and Deadpool packs, all coming at a cost. Daredevil is different though as he’s free to grab right now.
