You may have seen the trailer on the Xbox show at Gamescom, but today Frontier Developments have officially confirmed Jurassic World Evolution – whilst providing a few little details.
Due for arrival on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in the summer of 2018, Jurassic World Evolution will give you the chance to build your own park – a park full of dinosaurs. Based on the iconic film franchise from Universal Pictures, the game will expand on the whole Jurassic World mythology as you get put in charge of the big screen’s greatest tourist destination.
“As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” said Frontier’s Chief Creative Officer, Jonny Watts. “We’re excited to bring over fifteen years of management, simulation, and creature development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us.”
You will be put in charge of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. How you put that control to use is completely up to you as you get to build your own Jurassic World, bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities. Every choice you make promises to open up a new path and spectacular challenges arise when ‘life finds a way.’
We will of course keep you as up-to-date about the game as possible. If you missed the Xbox show, or just want to view the awesome trailer for the game once again, then hit it up below.
