It may not come as much of a surprise, but Microsoft Studios have acquired the rights to the Gears Of War franchise from Epic Games.
…..and with that news, we can only assume that there will be a Gears title coming exclusively to Xbox One.
In addition to the purchase, MS have also revealed that Black Tusk Studios will take over all development of the Gears franchise with Rod Fergusson, the former Director of Production at Epic Games, joining Microsoft with a view to leading Black Task on the development of titles over the coming years.
