If you are an avid gardener, or more likely a massive fan of challenging puzzles which test your logical thinking to the max, then boy do we have the game for you; Grass Cutter – Mutated Lawns is launching today on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch.
Available to purchase and download right now, Grass Cutter – Mutated Lawns may seem trivial and basic on a graphical level, with Minecraft-inspired blocks across the board, however the challenge on offer here is anything but.
Gameplay-wise, and you can clearly see that Grass Cutter is heavily influenced by good ol’ Pac-Man. You see, the main goal of each of the multiple levels is to move in the four cardinal directions and mow each square of lawn, alike to Pac with his pills. Similarly, there are a number of enemies and obstacles across each course that are out to get you – therefore the key to success is to figure out the best course of action, combining this with lightning fast reactions in order to get yourself out of any sticky situations. It may all seem pretty simple, but see if you think the same when you are tackling laser grids, security guns and ponds all at once!
Aside from the main draw of this fast-paced and challenging action title, there are a number of customisable options available: think unicorns, cows and all other manner of animals instead of your conventional lawnmower.
And… well that’s pretty much it with Grass Cutter – Mutated Lawns, a simple but addictive little puzzler that is probably best suited as a challenging time-waster on Xbox One.
