Head back to the 1970s with the Buzzcocks and Rocksmith

-

Never mind the Buzzcocks – just concentrate on the latest downloadable content for Rocksmith!

The 1970s saw a massive rise in popularity for punk rock and at the heart of it all were The Buzzcocks, pushing forward not just the UK music scene, but kicking off the main drive coming from Manchester. And today all Rocksmith 2014 Edition and Rocksmith Remastered players get the chance to relive that era with the arrival of the latest 70s Mix Pack IV, with the Buzzcocks and more all starring.

The tunes included are:

  • The Buzzcocks – Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)
  • Steve Miller Band – Jungle Love
  • George Thorogood – Who Do You Love?

As always if you fancy getting a download of the full pack above then a measly £6.39 will see you sorted. If you would prefer to just go down the single track route then you are looking at a £2.39 payout.

Of course, in order for you to see these tunes in your Rocksmith library you will need to be visiting a digital store near you asap. For us Xbox 360 and Xbox One guitarists that will see the Xbox Store sorting us out, whilst those rocking out on PS3 and PS4 should visit the PlayStation Store.

With Rocksmith promising to be the fastest way to learn guitar – check out our review here for proof – anyone who has ever taken a bit of a liking to the strumming scene and wishes to learn more could do a whole load worse than pick the game up.

Let us know if you are a Rocksmith player and whether you’ll be grabbing this content by sticking your thoughts in down below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
