Immerse yourself in a living nightmare with the Amnesia Collection on Xbox One

-

Many think that the Amnesia games kicked off the whole ‘Let’s Play’ revolution, allowing us to sit back in the comfort of our own homes and watch a stranger halfway around the world be put through their worst nightmares. I mean, what is better in life then watching someone scream in fear whilst you throw popcorn into your mouth? Not much, but now it’s time for the tables to be turned and for us Xbox One owners to be given nightmares with the arrival of the Amnesia Collection.

Available right now on Xbox One, the Amnesia Collection actually consists of 3 different experiences. ‘The Dark Descent’ puts you in the shoes of Daniel as he is left trying to remember the past, whilst ‘A Machine For Pigs’ tells the tale of super rich Oswald Mandus. The final tale meanwhile focuses on ‘Justine’, putting you through a series of tests that have been created by the most disturbed minds.

The question you have to ask yourself with the Amnesia Collection is not whether or not you wish to play the games, but whether or not you can handle the nightmares afterwards. If you reckon you can, then a trip to the Xbox Store with £23.99 in your pocket should be made immediately. Be super quick and you’ll nab a discount on that too.

If you can’t, then well, grab that popcorn and sit back with Mixer and Twitch rolling. Whichever you decide, get ready for a rocky ride!

Game Description:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent puts you in the shoes of Daniel as he wakes up in a desolate castle, barely remembering anything about his past. Exploring its eerie pathways, you must piece together Daniel’s troubled memories and uncover the horror that lies deep below. In Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, wealthy industrialist Oswald Mandus wakes in his bed wracked with fever and haunted by dreams of a dark and hellish engine. All he knows is that his children are in grave peril, and it’s up to him to save them. Amnesia: Justine puts you through a series of trials constructed by a demented mind. Will you risk your own life to save others?
