Indie Hit ‘Bleed’ coming to Xbox One and PS4 in August 2017

-

If you’re a long time Xbox player, or occasionally delve into the darkness that is the PC world, then you may well have heard of Bleed. Today it has been confirmed that it’ll be coming to Xbox One and PS4 real soon.

In fact, come August 24th, Xbox One players will be able to experience the same joy as those 360 players did many years ago when Bleed first arrived as an Indie title. If you’re a PS4 gamer, then you’ll be able to get in on the action even earlier, with the NA region seeing a 22nd Aug release, and EU the 23rd.

Priced at £7.99/$9.99/€9.99 – with a current 20% discount in place – Bleed is well known as one of the best Indie games of all time. But what is it all about? Well, you see, Wryn is a girl with a big arsenal and big dreams – she wants to be the ultimate videogame hero! You’ll need to help her take down the Greatest Heroes of All Time in an action-packed bid to claim the title for herself and show the world what a true hero looks like!

An action-platformer that is focused on stylish, acrobatic dodging and fluid, challenging gameplay, there is no filler in Bleed – just you and your skills against seven levels of enemies, obstacles, breakneck set-pieces and inventive bosses!

Features include:

  • Unique control scheme enabling crazy fast action
  • 7 levels packed with multiple set-pieces and bosses
  • 4 difficulty levels that remix enemy placement and boss patterns
  • 2-player local co-op for all modes (requires at least one gamepad)
  • 3 unlockable characters with their own gameplay twists
  • Survive the entire game on one life in Arcade Mode
  • Select and battle up to three bosses at once in Challenge Mode
  • Trophies and Achievements added for PS4 and Xbox One versions
  • Localized in the following languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Brazilian

As always, we’ll be sure to remind you when the game arrives on Xbox One. For now though, if you like the idea and fancy dropping a bit of cash, hit up the Xbox Games Store and get your pre-order in.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
