It’s a game that has picked up more than half a million players over on PC, but now Jalopy is heading for the big time – with a release on Xbox One this September.

Arriving on Xbox One come 27th September 2019, Jalopy is the quirky road trip simulation game that has gone nuts on PC. Set in the former Eastern Bloc, it will make its console debut on Xbox One ensuring that the genre-defining driving and repairing simulation game gets to reach a whole new audience.

Long requested for console, this news will no doubt be one that is massively appealing to many, as us console owners get the chance to navigate miles and miles of tyre changing, fuel burning, carburettor busting, mud clattering terrain, through night and day, rain and shine.

In fact, you’ll need to adapt to whatever the procedurally generated world of Jalopy can throw at you, as you attempt to upgrade, maintain and care for your Laika 601 Deluxe motor vehicle. This means you’ll need to keep close attention to everything from the state of your tyres, the condition of your engine and even the space in your trunk; repairing each aspect of your little car as you go. As you would expect, installing unique upgrades to deal with the changing world, will be par for the course, and everything from cargo weight to the condition of your carburettor will determine how your car performs on the open road.

Excited to see Jalopy come to Xbox One? We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it hits the store, and we’ll have some thoughts surrounding how it all plays out on Xbox One nearer the time. But for now, hit up the trailer below.
